Sheridan College Women's Soccer Camps
Mallery Marshall | Head Coach
The winningest coach in program history, Mallery Marshall enters her second season as the head soccer coach at Sheridan College after leading the Generals to a fourth place conference finish in 2016. Marshall is the only head coach to lead the Generals to an NJCAA Region IX tournament appearance and was a Region IX Coach of the Year finalist and the 2016 Sheridan Press Coach of the Year nominee.
The Generals enter the 2017 season coming off a banner year having produced more wins in a single season then the program has seen since its inception in 2011. Notable games include a late season one goal deficit loss (2-1) to Laramie Community College who went on to a fourth place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament.
During her tenure, Marshall has reinvented the program with a foundation of strong recruiting, bringing some of the top talent from Wyoming and neighboring states to Sheridan. Under Marshall, the Lady Gens had their first Region IX First Team Player selection in sophomore centerback Teresa Giandanto of Grand Junction, CO. Giandonato was also named the 2016 Female Soccer Player of the Year by the Sheridan Press.
Not only has Marshall built Sheridan into a force on the field, she has created an identity for the entire program - one that the Sheridan community has embraced. The team finished the 2016 year with a 3.7 accumulative GPA, had 10 Region IX academic honor recipients and 5 NJCAA Academic All-Americans.
When not coaching, Marshall serves as a coordinator for the educational grant program GEAR-UP. Marshall also serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Big Horns.
Marshall played her college career at Louisiana State University and graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications. Marshall resides in Sheridan with her four children, Michal-Tate, Meadow, Abram and Eli.
